ABOUT SAFE SAN JUANS
We Support Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault/Abuse

Our Philosophy
We are here to listen.
We are here to help you explore your emotions.
We are here to safety plan, discuss steps, and identify options with you.
We are here to help you find your strength.
We are here to support you in the path you choose.
We are here to support you on your journey.
Our Objectives
Provide immediate and confidential support to survivors and secondary victims of domestic violence (DV) and sexual assault/abuse (SA).
Provide short and long-term supportive services to survivors and secondary victims of DV/SA living in or visiting San Juan County.
Provide client-directed empowerment-based services to DV/SA survivors and secondary victims that increase client safety and autonomy.
Provide confidential emergency and long-term shelter for survivors of DV and SA.
Raise awareness about DV/SA and provide education about available DV/SA services and how to access them.
Bring about change in individuals, relationships, communities, and society through strategies that address root causes of violence, shift culture, build skills, and promote healthy relationships.
