This August, SAFE San Juans is honored to once again take part in the SJI Cares Campaign during the annual San Juan County Fair — a vibrant community tradition that brings together islanders to celebrate, connect, and support the causes that matter most.

From August 14–17, you’ll find us both online and in person at the Fairgrounds, sharing our mission and inviting you to be part of our ongoing work to ensure safety, healing, and hope for all survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in San Juan County.

💡 What Is the SJI Cares Campaign?

Hosted in partnership with the San Juan Island Community Foundation, the SJI Cares Campaign is a four-day fundraising event that features local nonprofits and offers a powerful opportunity for community members to give back — and double their impact.

During the campaign, every donation made to SAFE San Juans through the Foundation’s giving platform is eligible for matching funds — helping us expand vital services like crisis intervention, counseling, prevention education, legal advocacy, and shelter.

Can’t attend in person? You can still support SAFE San Juans by making a matched donation online from August 14–17 through the SJI Community Foundation’s website. It’s quick, impactful, and helps fund critical programs right here at home.
